Two magical things

I bet you all are glad that this one is in English. Last night, it took a half hour for my dad to pull out my very loose tooth. For a few seconds, I didn´t even know it was gone, that is, until my tongue felt where my tooth had been but instead of the tooth, all I felt was my gum. It was really kind of attached to my tooth. Since my tooth came out, my dad said he would take me to the grocery store and get me a treat. I got some candy called Plopp. Then I came home and called mommy. She told me that I HAD WON THE A.R. TROPHY!!!! A.R. is where you read a book and take a test on it on the computer. You get points depending on how well you do on the test (and how many pages the book you read was). The one with the most points in each grade gets the A.R. trophy, and for second grade, that was ME!! There was one boy named Bryant who I am guessing was really really close to beating me. My friend, Lacy, not only won the A.R. trophy for third grade, she won the trophy for the whole school, with 309 points. I had 224 points or so (I am guessing - I can´t remember how many points I got).

Aren´t these two things magical!!

Oh, and I´ve heard only once from my teacher, Mrs. Hughes, to say that I have won the A.R. trophy.

Svensk skola!!!

My mommy can help you translate all of this if you want her to.

Hej då!

Still Having Fun in Sweden

Yesterday, me and a friend named Alma went to a farm. There was this cute, little baby lamb that we got to feed at the end of our time there. We also went to a large field with lots of sheep. There was this mommy sheep and a little lamb, and I tried to get the little lamb to nose me like the other lambs did, so I tried the mommy, and she did it. She left, then when the little lamb was going to follow, he nosed me. So it was like a lesson - don´t be afraid of these creatures!

We also got to see some horses - a white one, a brown one, a black one, and another brown one with a mask on. When we were in the lamb´s field, the horses went over to the lamb side, and the lambs went over to the horses´side. The plain brown horse (with no mask) was very very nosey! He kept nosing us, and then there came a point when he wanted to kick. So Alma and I got out of the way right away. When we went back to the sheep, I thought one of them wanted to nose me, but she thought I was food and started nibbling me.

We also saw a daddy, a mommy, and three little babies trotting right past us. One of the babies came to say "hi." So when we went back to the stables, we got to see some more lambs. They were very nosey too! That´s when we got to feed the cute little lamb (see my first paragraph). It was very, very fun time!

In Sweden!!

A few days ago, I left for Sweden. I had four flights to get here. We were late for almost all of them. Our baggage didn´t make it because they couldn´t keep up with us. We still haven´t received them yet.

I am having fun here in Sweden, but I miss all of you in America.

Love,
Rebecka

Foot

Yesterday morning I was in the kitchen barefoot. I was dumping bread crumbs in the trashcan when the plate lost balance with me and it fell to the ground with a CRASH!!!!!!! Some of the glass hit my foot and it started bleeding. Later my laptop was on the edge of my bed and it fell on the same foot I had to hop everywhere.
