Circus School

Here in Sweden right now, I am going to a circus school (cirkus skola in Swedish). We got a special shirt, and our teachers' names our Linnea, Tobias, Sara, Louise, and Bella. You can do trampoline, juggling, gymnastics, and othe circus stuff. You can also spin plates. We have a show tomorrow, and on the juggling, I am going to do something called svans (tail). For acrobatics, I am going to do something called a "boat" and a "bridge." In fact, the whole circus school will be doing those things, and I will be a part of it.

I am really really nervous about our big show tomorrow. Wish me good luck.

Miriam came home!

On Sunday, instead of going to church, we went to Miriam's bible school for her graduation. We heard her sing. My other aunt, Scilla, came to watch too. Then, we had lunch, which was meat and potatoes. For dessert we had this chocolate-looking thing (some kind of ice cream). That was really good. Then I got to jump on the trampoline for a little while. Then, Scilla and I spied on Miriam some. We went inside where Miriam lived, and she gave Scilla and me presents. She gave me a teddy-bear balloon and a poodle-hat (both sculpted out of balloons). She gave Scilla a little man balloon. And then it was time for us to go home. We dropped Scilla off at my Uncle David's house (not Apple David), and I got to see my cousin Ester. She had grown a lot since the last time I saw her.

Then we said good-bye to Scilla and went off to mormor's sister's house in Örebro. They have two birds and two cats. The cats had their very own room (I'm serious). One was named Elisa, one was named Teddy. Elisa was one of the cutest cats I have ever met. I even learned to pick her up all by herself (and I usually can't do that). Then we went outside to see some horses. We got to pet them on the noses and feed them. One horse was really friendly, and when we went to pet some other horses, he started crying for us to come back. It was either that he liked us very much, or he was very hungry. Then we got to see some cows and a little baby calf.

Then we went home to Järna. I got to sleep down where Miriam sleeps for one night. It was really, really fun.

Brännboll

Last night, me and my class played this game called brännboll. This is how you play. There are two teams, one of them is "in," and one of them is "out." The team that's "in" gets in line. The first person in line throws or hits the ball. The "out" team is supposed to try and catch that ball and give it to the bränner who is standing on a red mat. The person who hit the ball on the "in" team goes to one of the red things (bases) in a circle. So, that person tries to get to one of the red things while the "out" team is trying to get the ball and throw it back to the bränner. He is safe if the "out" team catches the ball and gives it to the bränner and he decides to stay at one of those bases. He is not safe if he is in between the bases and the "out" team gets the ball to the bränner in time.

I really, really like brännboll.
